Solar Eclipse workshops for teachers April 7 & 8 – FREE

The Western Kentucky University SKyTeach program is conducting day-long workshops to prepare Kentucky teachers for the August 21 total solar eclipse. Participants will learn how to use the eclipse as a teaching opportunity and how to safely share the eclipse with students. Participants will build and take home a solar telescope to use during the eclipse and beyond. Two sessions will be offered. The first will be Friday April 7 with the second on Saturday April 8. Both sessions will run from 9 am to 4 pm central time. Space is limited. For more information see the flyer:
