is seeking a scientist with air pollution monitoring expertise to help citizens of West Louisville, KY, characterize the sources and types of chemical pollutants.  Details here:

Characterizing Industrial Air Toxins

Science-bombing the Bike MS on June 24 and 25 in Bardstown

KAS scientists will be setting up demos and activities at Heaven Hill distillery, talking to people at the BikeMS  ride on June 24-25. Would you like to set up an activity, or an outdoor-friendly show & tell about your research? All topics are welcome- you’ll share space with neuroscientists who study MS!

This years route will start in Lawrenceburg, wind through the bourbon trail, and end at Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown ( We will be at Heaven Hill ready to wow them with AMAZING SCIENCE!!!

The MS society also desperately needs help with rest stops. If you do rest stops on both days, they will put you up in a hotel overnight so you don’t have to drive so far. Kris and I will be at RS3. Join us or help fill in another rest stop.

The Southern Kentucky Science Festival in Bowling Green will be Sunday August 20, the day before the Eclipse ! Are you headed south to see it? Spend Sunday afternoon with science enthusiasts, and share an activity with festivalgoers!  Email us to find out more
