Judging – Spring 2017

Kentucky Junior Academy of Science: Saturday April 15 at Kentucky State University

Students present a 10-minute scientific talk about their research and winners are eligible to participate in the American Junior Academy of Science meeting the following February.

Kentucky Science & Engineering Fair: Eastern Kentucky University, Saturday, April 1, 2017. and follow the links to Judging.

Most judging commitments are 7:30 am – 1 pm, (second-round ends at 2:00 pm) Breakfast & lunch are included. 300 students compete for trophies, ribbons, scholarships, and special awards sponsors. Winners are eligible to represent the Commonwealth at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California in May. Contact:

Louisville Youth Science Summit June 3 – presenters needed to share activities relating to careers in STEM with Middle and High school students. Email Andrew Spence.

Thriving Earth Exchange (all over!)

Run by the American Geophysical Union,  TEX sends professionals on long-term assignments all over the country to help local governments and non-profits, mostly with climate-related research and problem-solving.
