Kentucky Junior Academy of Science: Saturday April 15 at Kentucky State University
Students present a 10-minute scientific talk about their research and winners are eligible to participate in the American Junior Academy of Science meeting the following February.

Most judging commitments are 7:30 am – 1 pm, (second-round ends at 2:00 pm) Breakfast & lunch are included. 300 students compete for trophies, ribbons, scholarships, and special awards sponsors. Winners are eligible to represent the Commonwealth at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California in May. Contact: email@example.com

Run by the American Geophysical Union, TEX sends professionals on long-term assignments all over the country to help local governments and non-profits, mostly with climate-related research and problem-solving.
