by / Monday, 12 June 2017 / Published in KAS News

Since their inception in 1945, the AAAS Science Journalism Awards have honored distinguished reporting on science by professional journalists. Since 2009, the Kavli foundation has joined AAAS and helps expand the awards to international reporters.  The 2017 contest is now underway and we’re looking for stellar science articles, podcasts, and television spots.

Have you read, watched, or listened to a compelling and accurate science story recently? Submit a nomination using the link below. Thank you for helping us recognize and honor the best in science journalism.

About AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Awards
In recognition of a generous endowment in 2009 by The Kavli Foundation that ensured the future of the program, the awards are now called the AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Awards. Kavli doubled the endowment in 2015, allowing us for the first time to make the competition truly international.
