Nominations Open for AAAS Early Career Award for Public Engagement with Science: Due August 15, 2017

The AAAS Early Career Award for Public Engagement with Science recognizes early-career scientists and engineers who demonstrate excellence not only in their research careers but also in promoting meaningful dialogue between science and society.

Nominations are now open and the deadline is August 15, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. E.T.  Please visit the award page for more information about the nomination process and to learn more about past recipients.

The winner receives a monetary prize of $5,000, a commemorative plaque, complimentary registration to the 2018 AAAS Annual Meeting, and reimbursement for hotel and travel expenses to attend the AAAS Annual Meeting to receive the award.
